Truffle Hunting tours in August – Dates

If you are travelling on the Meteora region or the wider area of Thessaly in August, then you will have the chance to join a truffle hunting tour at Meteora on the 11th and 25th of August, hosted by the Museum.

Follow the Museum team in the region’s woods to find truffles with specially trained dogs. We will cook them for you in a delicious truffle pasta dish to enjoy in situ. You will taste mushrooms and a unique mushroom sweet, accompanied by selected wine and refreshments. Finally, you’ll tour the Museum, where you’ll learn more truffle and mushroom secrets.
