The 4th annual Mushroom Festival will take place on early September

The Natural History Museum of Meteora and Mushroom Museum organizes the 4th annual Mushroom Festival at Kalambaka, on September 7, 8 and 9.

The great success of the three previous festivals has created great expectations for this year’s feast, so many activities are organized for the participants.

Mushroom and truffle delicacies by dozens of chefs, truffle and mushroom hunting in the surrounding mountains, mushroom identifications, seminars, activities for children and of course many cultural events will consist the three days festival’s program. All these for free!

The Festival is an offer by the Museum’s, aiming that its visitors will come across the magic world of mushrooms, while their high nutritional value will be indicated.

The event is supported by the local businessmen, the Region of Thessaly, the Municipality of Meteora, and the Greek mushroom societies.
