Truffle hunting – September dates

Truffle hunting tours organized by the Museum continue in September! Individual visitors of the area of Meteora can join a truffle hunting tour on September 12th and 26th. The starting out has been set at 9:30 am and the meeting point is the Museum.

The program includes:

1. Truffle hunting in the forest with specially trained truffle dogs
2. Cooking and truffle spaghetti meal in the forest
3. Mushroom Tasting
4. Visit the Museum

We remind you that truffle hunts have, also, been announced for the 10th and 24th of October. If someone wants a private truffle hunt they can do it whenever they want, of course after consultation with the museum.

Truffle hunts are also held for organized groups, by arrangement.
