After last year’s three awards winning at Tourism Awards 2019, the Natural History Museum of Meteora and Mushroom Museum won two more awards at this year’s Tourism Awards 2020. This win reflects its continued effort for high-quality services relating to either the Museum itself or the activities it develops.

In particular, the Museum received the following awards:

  1. Gastronomy – Local Products: SILVER Award for the Museum’s mushroom and truffle product range
  2. Tourism Attractions – Museums, Archaeological Sites: BRONZE Award

These are two high accolades, with great value, since the biggest Greek tourism companies, major cultural organization, etc, are competing for the awards.

At the occasion of the award, the Museum’s Director Mr. Nikos Pallas stated: “Both last year’s and this year’s awards from Tourism Awards, show our continuous effort for excellent services to visitors. For us, respecting the visitor, offering new activities, but also our innovative initiatives, are an obligation and number one rule in our operation. “
