The Museum in the top 10% of activities worldwide

The Natural History Museum of Meteora and Mushroom Museum received two important awards, ranking it in the top 10% of the world’s top activities, according to Tripadvisor, one of the largest travel websites in the world.

One distinction is for the Museum itself, while the second is for the Truffle Hunting it organizes. Both received the Travelers’ Choice Awards for 2024. The ranking of the winners is based on travelers’ reviews, which take place over a 12-month period and capture their view of their experience of visiting the site. The quality and quantity of the reviews and the ratings they give are taken into account.

These awards are given by the visitors themselves, which is why their value is even more important.

This is not the first time that these awards have been presented to the Museum. Since the very next year of its operation, it has received them continuously, with the exception of the period of the Covid-19, when everything was upset. They demonstrate the Museum’s consistency and dedication in providing excellent services to its visitors and to those who participate in the Truffle Hunting it organizes.
