Truffle hunting, hosted by the Museum will be aired in China!

On Monday 16th of May, the Museum organized and hosted a truffle hunting experience for the presenters and the crew of the most popular travel and foodie reality show of China: «The Xfun Foodie Club»
The show contacted the Museum a few weeks ago and reveiled their wish to live the experience of truffle hunting in Meteora. The Museum’s staff was more than happy to create an event that suprised them positively.
The presenters of the show defined the truffle hunting as «unique and magnificient experience» and the crew hasn’t stopped for a moment to take videos and photos.
Brio, the truffle dog and the team discovered many, well hidden truffles that the chef Christos Plesiotis added to a top truffle pasta dish along with other wild mushrooms.
The adventure continued at the Museum, where they have had the opportunity to tour around it, shoot for their show and try original mushroom products.
The show team was really excited and they have promised to return to Meteora and participate in the 2nd annual mushroom feast, from 27 to 29 August.
